Sölden
stands for the full force of winter
Alpine Ski World Cup
venue and one of Europe's moste renowned Ski & Snowboard Resorts. The
infinite number of slopes and ski trails for all levels and abilities coupled
with the perfect
grooming of not less than 148 km of slopes make Sölden a truly unique
winter sports center. Some facts: 69 km blue ski trails, 51 km red ski
trails, 28 km black ski trails SNOW IS GUARANTEED from October through
May thanks
to the high alpine location of the slopes (1.350 - 3.340 m) 2 glacier ski
areas at Rettenbach & Tiefenbach. Artificial snow-making systems covering
more than 67 % of the slopes.
It
is Austria's only ski area with 3 mountains higher than 3,000 meters accessible
by lifts or gondolas, which are Gaislachkogl (3.058 m) Tiefenbachkogl (3.250
m) Schwarze Schneide
(3.340 m).
And nevertheless not
less than 26 huts and mountain restaurants within the ski are are warmly
welcoming you!

Gaislachkoglbahn
and Zentrum Shuttle
In winter 2010/2011 a brand-new mountain gondola
will whisk you up to the top of Gaislachkogl peak. It is said to be one
of the most spectacular architectonic highlights throughout Austria,
offering the latest technical standards. The Innerwald beginners' ski
area moves closer to Sölden: the new "Zentrum
Shuttle" links Innerwald to the village center of Sölden -easy,
comfortable and suitable for handicapped.
